May Day, May Day...

This tray is a work of art - honestly!

Okay, so it isn't I just left the garden tray on a ring on a cooker that's SUPPOSED to be broken - it hasn't worked for months... There I was, creating the perfect May Day lunch for Beany and his best friend, and having such a stupidly small kitchen that you can touch both walls at the same time (ie it's tiny and has no worksurfaces), I put the tray on top of the cooker - on the side that doesn't work, in the same way that we always do. Seconds later my eyes are streaming and the room is full of acrid smoke. Nice. Kim thought it was hilarious. Hence the photo - that Kim took, obviously.


I thought this was hilarious myself....



The faces? No! I mean the fact that we had perfect sunshine on May Day - in CORNWALL; you remember, the county that's always under a rain cloud on the weather map! And, no, I didn't doctor the photo!
