Wheal Art Weekend

This is the latest project I'm working on... It's this weekend and I'm tearing my hair out because my sculpture's not yet a sculpture - and by this time it bloody well should be! The artist that made the pink pom-pom on the card above (Sara Bowler) is going to fill a field with 2000 of them; a major task in comparison to what I'm planning. All I want to do is make a copper-wire boy and so far my model has disappeared (deciding it's more fun to go and play with his friends - ha!) and the wire I ordered is twice as thick as it needs to be (so it's not malleable enough), and I've no time or money to order any more... I also plan to make a sound piece, but don't have any equipment and can't lay my hands on a singing tin miner!!!

It's been all go at the moment, so if you haven't heard from me personally for a while please forgive me! And if you don't hear from me in the near future start worrying - because I've probably thrown myself down a mineshaft in a fit of pique!
