Truro goes Pagan-ish

I thought Truro's annual 'Festival of Lights' would be a good reason for getting out of the house on a cold night in November... Kim seemed to disagree, as you can see from the delightful expression of joy on his face! He soon got into the mood though and said that his favourite lantern was a dragon boat - you can see the head of it in one of the pictures below.

Most of the lanterns are made by local schools and colleges with the help of artists - note Falmouth's monster effort! For some reason there's always a lot of drummers taking part too - I don't quite understand the connection to lights, but ours is not to reason why, as they say! I love the noise and vibrations going right through me anyway...very primal.

We went for a pizza after the parade, which fulfilled another very primal urge! Mmmmm...
