Twigs

Okay, so this stuff is meant for my sketchbook - I don't know why I keep showing you half-baked ideas, crap drawings that get reworked... guess it's all just part of the process.

dipped twigs - dipped in plaster, wax, ink and any old black gunk I could find....

In this glorious image (that sheet is white by the way!), the twiggy bits begin to be shaped into a bower (honest!)

In this one the twiggy bower is joined by a bit of sparkle and a blue tit (he hasn't been out of the box for a while, so I thought why not!)

I did some other drawings this evening and reworked one I did last week, maybe I'll show you those tomorrow (or should that be later on today, since I notice it's now gone midnight...), if I'm feeling brave. Night night. (Should probably have gone to bed some time ago, judging by the quality of this post!)
