Narrative Self: Surfin' USA?

There's a themed exhibition at Tate at the moment called 'If Everyone had an Ocean', which I think aimed to bring the 1960's Californian beach scene into the gallery. Don't know about that, but after a visit inside we tried to take the theme back outside! Pity the water temperature wasn't a bit more Californian though...
