At it again

I went for a run this afternoon and guess what? The vicious little madam in the shape of a raptor attacked me again!!! This time she managed to keep her talons to herself at least, but she dive-bombed me 5 times to make up for it, missing my head by about 25cm each time! I could feel the air move with the beat of her wings. Every time I stopped she took to the boughs, keeping her very beady eye on me and squawking at the top of her voice; every time I moved off she took a dive at me. It was quite funny really! I tried to get a photo for your benefit, but she wasn't having any of it...

During the week I drove past two other runners in the same spot (at different times) and was pleased to note that both of them had obviously had a similar encounter: one was wildly waving his arms above his head (he looked very peculiar and if I hadn't realised why he was doing it I'd definitely have called the funny farm); the other man had taken to walking and was looking very cautiously above him...I just grinned as I drove by!
