Mother's Day Menu

  • Breakfast in bed: fruit tea and a large slice of home-made caramel slice (also called millionaire's shortbread)
  • Elevenses: Thornton's chocolate-covered Turkish delight (generously shared with offspring)
  • Tea: home-made American pancakes and maple syrup followed by pain-au-chocolate, accompanied by fresh coffee and orange-juice avec bits in
  • Dinner: several large slices of home-made caramel slice served with plenty cups of fruit tea
  • Next morning: guaranteed eruption of spots and the onset of tooth-decay, accompanied by a mild nausea and only a vague recollection of what a real meal tastes like...
